
Amanda Louise Holden was born 16 February 1971. She is an English media personality, actress and a singer. She has been a judge on Britain's Got Talent, an ITV talent show since 2007. She is also the co-host of the Heart Breakfast radio show with Jamie Theakston on weekday mornings. Holden was raised in Portsmouth in Hampshire. She spent a good portion of her childhood living in Bishop's Waltham. When she was nine she joined the Bishop's Waltham Little Theatre Company. Holden has also appeared on TV in three series of Kiss Me Kate, starring Caroline Quentin and Chris Langham. She was also a part of three ITV series The Grimleys and Celeb with Harry Enfield episodes. A Boxing Day special Agatha Christie's Marple episode "4.50 From Paddington" with Geraldine McEwan as well as John Hannah. In Ready When You Are Mr. McGill by Jack Rosenthal she was in the role of Bill Nighy, Tom Courtenay, and Aleha Dixon. Holden, Alesha Dixon and David Walliams are judges on Britain's Got Talent. In 2006, she was a judge on the show.
