Najarra Townsend
Najarra was just three years old when she was able to pinpoint what she was looking for in her life. As a young girl she started modeling and playing on stage shows in the local area. Najarra continued to take part in theater and musicals throughout the remainder of her teens. Her first appearance in the world of film at 10 years old and co-starred with her mother in "Menace". Najarra received international recognition for her role in "Me and You and Everybody We know" that won Sundance as well as Cannes Awards in 2005. The actress played the lead role in several films, including "Tru I Loved" and 'Marin Blue", and "Betty I Am". "Contracted," the IFC Midnight horror smash "Contracted" revealed a completely different side of the actress. Najarra is determined to devote her entire life to things she loves and that inspire her.
