Ana Paula Oliveira bio

Ana Paula Oliveira (born May 26, 1978) was born in the city of Campinas in Sao Paulo. She's a well-known actress in Woman on Top (2000), Sem Fio (2009) and A Indomada (1997). Ana Paula Oliveira has been an integral part of the Global Initiative Against Transnational Organized Crime since March 2020. She currently works as an analyst managing the Assassination Witness project, and is one of the core members of G-TOC's multilateral engagement team. In her work with GI TOC she is focused on disappearances, assassinations - and violence of other types in the context of illicit economics. Her interests in research also include the effects of organized crime on human rights and the humanitarian law and policy. Ana Paula earned an LL.M. with distinction on International Law at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies of Geneva. She has earned an LL.M. degree from the School of Public Law as well an MBA from Fundacao Getulio Vargas, Rio de Janeiro. Ana Paula holds a Bachelor degree magna cum laude in Legal as well as Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. She was a trained lawyer and worked for 4 years with a public law litigation firm. Additionally, she has held assistant positions at non-governmental organisations based in Rio de Janeiro, and Geneva.
