Awkwafina

American actor and musician Awkwafina was the first to debut her sly rap tracks that tackled sexuality and identity with a comical wit before expanding her repertoire to Hollywood. Nora Lum, born in Forest Hills Queens to Chinese and Korean immigrants, was her initial music experience. She was a trumpet player. Also, she received instruction in jazz and classical before exploring hip-hop in her teenager. While in college, she took classes in Women's Studies and Journalism. In addition, she spent one semester studying Mandarin at the University of Beijing. Then, after graduation, that she switched her focus on music. This track was directly linked to another project, Awkwafina's NYC guide to traveling published in 2015. A musician and an author were on her resume she determined to pursue a third endeavor actor.
